I am studying technology in software analysis and development, although I am a professional in business administration.   After reading this, I came to the conclusion that to reduce crime, the government must increase policies to support citizens. Even if there is a public authority like the police, in a society without supportive policies, there will always be crime, and I do not agree with the death penalty.  There are crimes that deserve very severe penalties, but if we implement death as punishment, we would also be committing a crime from an ethical and moral point of view.
